Teen faces 100 years in sexual assault case

A Big Horn County teen is facing up to 100 years for aggravated sexual assault stemming from a May 2020 incident in Big Horn County.

Kendall Dale Old Horn Jr., also known as Hudson Old Horn, who was 13 years old at the time of the alleged crime, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, April 26, 2021 in the Twenty-Second Judicial District Court in Hardin to one felony count of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent and one felony count of tampering with witnesses or informants.

It is alleged in court documents, that on or about May 7, 2020, Old Horn used force to have vaginal intercourse with a 14-year-old female and told the girl to tell her sister that he was gay and that they “were not doing anything” following the sexual intercourse without consent.

Old horn faces up to 100 years in the Montana State Prison for aggravated sexual intercourse without consent and a $50,000 fine and 10 years in Montana State Prison and a $50,000 fine for tampering with witnesses or informants.

Judge Matthew Wald will decide if Old Horn’s case will remain in adult court or will be remanded to youth court.
